Resources for Customers with Disabilities

Career Link is committed to serving our customers and providing access to our services.  We have a variety of equipment and resources designed to assist individuals with disabilities available at our locations across central Illinois.

Assistive Technology

Career Link offices have assistive technology and materials to accommodate a variety of disabilities.  All offices offer screen reading and magnification software.  The Normal and Peoria offices are equipped with motorized adjustable workstations, adjustable chairs and enhanced keyboards and mice.  A Braille printer is available in the Peoria office.

Illinois Relay Services

Illinois Relay is a free service that allows people who are Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, Speech-Disabled, or Deaf-Blind to place and receive calls to standard telephone users via a keyboard or assistive device.  Illinois Relay offers additional relay numbers for people who want to use their voice or hearing with their TTY  and for people who are deaf-blind and use a tele-braille.  Standard telephone and TTY users also have a choice to use Illinois Relay's traditional 10 digit numbers or the convenient three-digit number 711.
